The TeamTwo Perspectives. One Way of Working
My name is Marisa, and I've been transforming spaces all over the world for more than 25 years: in Asia, Canada, and Europe.
I have developed internationally award-winning projects in the hospitality sector, where concept, design, and profitability are seamlessly integrated.
I work in the field of neuroarchitecture, exploring how spaces influence emotions, behavior, and ways of living. A well-designed space transforms the way we inhabit, feel, and experience our daily lives.

His sensitivity and strategic vision result in solid, coherent projects, conceived and developed to a high standard of excellence.
My name is Julia. I've lived on and sailed on sailboats for a few years. I've also lived in remote villages in Africa, without electricity or running water.
I learned that when you get rid of everything that's unnecessary, space stops being a container for things and becomes something that supports you, something that helps you be who you are.
It wasn't until I returned to a conventional home that I truly understood how our surroundings affect us, every day—for better or for not-so-good.

It strikes a balance between identity, functionality, and well-being. It has a special knack for identifying what each space truly needs.

How We WorkA method based on judgment, emotion, and purpose
Escabeche stems from a very specific way of understanding design.
Marinating—that Mediterranean technique that preserves and transforms food through patience, blending, and seasoning—has always struck us as a good way to explain how we work: taking a space and shaping it with experience, creativity, attention to detail, and vision until it reaches its full potential.
We believe that space has a greater impact than it seems: on how a place is experienced, how a brand is perceived, and how a business operates.
We're interested in interior design, but above all, we're interested in what happens within a space.
We work on hospitality projects—hotels, lodging, and dining spaces—where every decision must make sense. We don’t design based on trends or out of habit. We design when we understand the context.
Before we talk about materials or layout, we talk about intent. About what the project needs. About what needs to be improved. About what kind of experience we want to create.
We are meticulous about detail and consistency. We seek to create honest, functional, and well-thought-out spaces that take care of both the people and the business that sustains them.
"Escabeche" is a way of working with discernment and purpose.
