In the heart of Toronto’s financial district, ONYX breaks away from the traditional aesthetic of nail salons to offer a contemporary, minimalist style with character. Concrete-inspired surfaces and stainless steel accents create a modern, sophisticated, and slightly provocative atmosphere.
The microcement walls soften the space and contrast with the mirrored steel that frames the main display case. The reflective surfaces amplify the perception of the space and enhance the user’s experience, integrating them into the design itself.
Full-height, semi-translucent acrylic panels provide privacy without blocking the view, filtering light and creating a sense of controlled openness.
ONYX is not a conventional salon, but rather a contemporary reinterpretation: a space designed for those seeking a different, clean, and unpretentious experience.
