Interior Design for a Vacation Rental Apartment in Barcelona

In a stately building in Barcelona’s Eixample district, we designed this 90 m² vacation rental with the goal of preserving the city’s unique architectural identity and adapting it to a contemporary and functional use. The project is based on two distinctive elements: the hydraulic tile floors, so characteristic of Catalan tradition, and the large glass windows that open onto the inner courtyard, offering a haven of calm in the heart of the city.

The interior design was conceived using a neutral and versatile aesthetic, capable of accommodating different types of users without losing its character. To achieve this, the design focused on open and practical spaces, complemented by touches of color and a careful selection of graphic artworks that lend freshness and uniqueness to the overall design.

The result is a serene and functional apartment that strikes a balance between authenticity and comfort, inviting you to experience Barcelona from the inside, with the tranquility of a home and the charm of a historic building.
